The politically and denominationally independent social welfare organization was founded in 1955 and has since grown continuously into a nationally established youth welfare organization with a wide range of services. The association works at selected locations in all federal states to create positive living conditions for disadvantaged young people and their families.
SOS Children's Villages provide a home for children and young people who, for various reasons, can no longer live at home. They find a loving environment and individual, reliable and qualified support around the clock. In addition, social education workers and psychologists provide advice on parenting and family issues at numerous locations.
