The politically and denominationally independent social welfare organisation was founded in 1955 and has since grown continuously to become a nationally established youth welfare organisation with a wide range of services. The association is committed to providing positive living conditions for disadvantaged young people and their families at selected locations in all federal states.
SOS Kinderdorf offer a home for children and young people who, for various reasons, can no longer live in their parents‘ home. They find a loving environment and individual, reliable and qualified support there around the clock. In addition, social pedagogues and psychologists advise on questions of upbringing and family at numerous locations.
